I can open up my first catalogue but non the catalogue in question (I had just loaded with several hundred images). I reloaded lightroom program and reinstalled (irdata Catalog.Ircat and itemize Previews.) from my backup deejay. I accept saved on my fill-in deejay images, only not in my catalog.

Suggestions as to how I can reopen the catalog or is it fried?

When Lightroom opens a catalog file, it creates a "lock" file in the same directory as the catalog. When you lot take had your accident, has non deleted the file. All you demand to do is to find and delete it and everything will be fine, probably. :)
